Planning a visit with your school?
Last year we had hundreds of visitors from schools across the UK come along and learn all about the magical art of sand sculpture. This year we aim to excite and inspire even more people.
We have compiled special packages especially for school groups, full of entertaining and educational stuff. For a booking form to book your school visit click here or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
What is included?
A trip to Weston Sand Sculpture Festival is an educational, interactive and fun break away from the classroom. You will hit the beach and explore our exhibition of giant sand sculptures. Learn about what it takes to create these works of art, take home some secret “Tips ’n’ Tricks and create your own masterpiece with your classmates.
Every child gets a Sand-tastic Quiz and we also provide a Teachers Pack full of activities to do at the festival or back in the classroom. Bring your camera as there are opportunities to have a go yourself and pose with our sculptures. Why not take home a class photo?!
As an additional option, a workshop can be added to the tour. This great team-building activity is led by one of our world champion sand sculpture artists who will give you a masterclass in the art of building sand castles. The children will work together to create their own unique group sand sculpture. We can even theme your workshop to reflect something you are focusing on in school.

Getting involved and being included.
Every visitor will receive a token to vote for their favourite sand sculpture in our competition zone. Our professionals have gone head-to-head and the power is in their hands! We are keen to hear the children’s thoughts on our exhibition and suggest what our exhibition theme should be next year. Our site is kitted out to make it as accessible as possible. We use wooden flooring to help mobility aids, wheelchairs and pushchairs move through the site. We even have accessible photo opportunities.
